This is pretty standard in contract work. Other wise everyone would have split and the corporation would have been crippled. Should we be angry? Yes, but at congress not at AIG. Sen. Dodd specifically added an amendment to the spending bill that made required AIG to pay these bonuses. If he wouldn't have done that they wouldn't have been payed. Oh, and if we would have just allowed them to suffer the repercussions of their actions in the first place maybe we wouldn't be throwing all this money down the toilet. Thanks again Congress.
